Sure, just as soon as you quit DDOSing it.

Well, th DDOSers are demanding that we give them your post count and reset your karma to -15 billion. We were going to tell them no, but if you insist...

After all the work the programmers have done over the past 24 hours, I wouldn't be surprised if one of them changes his karma to zero.

I have heard from a reliable source that nothing would irritate Rimesume more than if someone made me a guru.

Ah, yes, but is it better to make you happy, or to make him less unhappy?

Meh.

Here you go, buddy.
#17REDACTED, Posted: Feb 24 2008 at 8:15 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Granted, I should have worded it differently, however I feel that the whole situation was taken out of context. I didn't know the site was experiencing DDOS or whatever attacks (still have no clue what that is) as the feedback forum page didn't load properly. A simple orc style "We're under attack!" would have sufficed, and I would have publicly apologized and been on my way.

Except if it were baby photos, it would be like looking at before and afters of Michael Jackson. Only instead of turning into a white guy, he changes into a chick!

There was already a thread or two and frontpage news about it.

So, posting a clearly drama bomb complaint ain't gonna get you far.

Not only did we put something on the front pages when it was possible but we had several customers send emails to the wowteam asking us what was going on in a polite manner. To which I replied what was happening and the responses were "oh ok, thank you for letting us know".

That said, an old old phrase of "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar" is pretty appropriate here. Instead of blasting the site and/or admin team, you could have just asked us politely and the admin team would have been more than happy to tell you exactly what was going on. Hell, you could have emailed me direct and I'd have been happy to tell you.

Just sayin.

Also, I present this in hopes that it helps the programmers and the site:

Overall size restrictions. If it's over a certain size, it thumbnails. If not, it stays full.

I have no idea what the max size is though.

How much work would have to go into making it so that [thumb=imgnumber] forces a thumbnail? :o
