Markup buttons not working?Follow

For some reason, the markup buttons seem to break after writing on a post for a while. Nothing happens when I click them. Now, I've been writing on this post for a while and it's the second version I write. Originally I wanted to make it a "Markup issues when making lengthy posts," but then I noticed the markup buttons didn't work in this short post so I wiped it and created this instead.

The buttons worked a few minutes ago, but now they suddenly don't work anymore. Clicking the buttons simply just deselects the marked text, or if you haven't marked any text, does nothing at all.

I'm using Firefox 2 with NoScript and AdBlock, but haven't had these issues before.

Mazra, I've been trying to duplicate the problem and have been unable to.

Have you restarted firefox lately? What about rebooting your computer?

Did you white-list allakhazam.com for noscript? The markup buttons use javascript, so if not...

The javascript they use was written and tested under firefox 2, so I can't think of any other reason why it wouldn't be working for you.

Do you have NoScript disabled for our page? The buttons are all javascript.

Allakhazam is whitelisted, yeah. After I bought premium I took the site off the list. Note that the markup buttons usually work. It's just that sometimes I can click them and nothing happens.

Usually occurs when I've been writing a long post, but I have also had it happen to me after having had the post editor open for a long time, without having written a long post.

I just semi-tested it myself. I copied and pasted the above text a couple of times to create a lengthy post, but the buttons still worked. Makes me think it's somehow time related, but that would be odd, wouldn't it?

Or maybe Firefox just had a hiccup. I'll get solid evidence if it happens again.

When I tested it I left it open for 2 hours while occasionally typing into it and using the markup buttons. I don't have noscript open installed, though.

I've been having the same issue at work and at home. Both running firefox and no-script. Alla is white listed on both computers and I've checked it repeatedly as I assumed that was the problem.

Hmm, probably not the issue then, but if you have the drive space may want to bump it up to 200mb and see if things improve.
