Extraneous info in page titlesFollow

Would it be possible to remove some of the extraneous info from the page titles (or at least move them around).

I do not know if I have just never noticed this, or if it was a change, but now the page titles read "Forums:: WoW:: Allakhazam.com::Thread:Title". Since this new tabbed browsing thing is all the rage with the kids these days, all of that fluff in the title makes it difficult to know what tab has what thread.

If you want all of that info in there (for SEO or whatever), then could it be rearranged to read "Title : Specific Forum Name :: Game Name :: Allakhazam.com". This would be much more beneficial to the user, as it provides the information they would need, while still making the individual titles visable in the tabbed browsing.

Right now, when in the Class section of the forums, it comes up "Class::Forum::WOW::Alla::Thread name", but it does not tell you what class forum you are in.

It would be awesome if this change could be made. It would still fulfill your needs for information display and would increase usability.

Hello.
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone home?

Come on, now.
I hear youre feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain,
Get you on your feet again.

Relax.
I need some information first.
Just the basic facts:
Can you show me where it hurts?

There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ships smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin.
When I was a child I had a fever.
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I got that feeling once again.
I cant explain, you would not understand.
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.

Ok.
Just a little pinprick. [ping]
Therell be no more --aaaaaahhhhh!
But you may feel a little sick.

Can you stand up?
I do believe its working. good.
Thatll keep you going for the show.
Come on its time to go.

There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ships smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin.
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse,
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone.
I cannot put my finger on it now.
The child is grown, the dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.

Smiley: nod

If you didn't get an answer, there is probably a good reason. It's probably more of a dev issue, since only devs can alter that type of information, and it may require an ok from someone high up. If there is a pressing dev problem, this forum will be overlooked until there isn't. I cannot help, I am not a dev, but if I see one, will push them this way.

Can we use this thread to post Pink Floyd lyrics, then?

We've been testing out the new backwards title string on the wow site (specific to general as opposed to the current general to specific), but the problem with that becomes that on pages shared between sites, it still puts stuff on the end and not the beginning. If we end up keeping the wow-style title string, then the general stuff can be moved to the beginning too.

Ahh soo.. I had just figured it was a site-wide change, but since I mainly only go to the WoW skin, I didn't think to check the other skins. Makes sense.

As a work-around for that now, couldn't you use some javascript to inspect the URL, and only apply the new strings if the url contains certain values?

And DF, I wasn't trying to be an ***. I just know that both Dana and rale still check here, and some times Illia. I had seen them in the recent visitors, so I figured I would bump it.
