I just re-upped my premium subscription today and was going to pre-order Warhammer at the GameStop site using the Alla's discount code. I generated two different codes and got the same message back from the GameStop site which reads:
Is this something that no longer exists?

I believe the code will not work with pre-orders.
Just what I've gleaned from seeing this posted a few times here. I could be wrong, it could just not work at all anymore.
Someone else mentioned if they ordered through the Electronics Boutique (pretty much the same store) online store it worked, though.

I tried it at EB as well as the GameStop site. It didn't work at either of them.
The code is kinda useless if you can't use it for a pre-order in my opinion. I typically want to pre-order a game rather than wait until it is released and THEN order it, especially when you need to pre-order something due to the fact it is a collectors edition. I guess that is just my buying preference though.
Guess we will wait and see what the official take is on this situation.

Codes are not supported on Pre-orders (maybe)
Codes are not supported on Games which contain "bonus" items (possibly)
and the most likely:
Codes do not work because Gamestop has not properly updated their database with pre-order games to categorize them as MMOs (Which apparently is what the codes only work with).

It's for MMOs, not just MMORPGs. But I think that last case is probably the issue.

Just out of curiosity, what does the coupon do? Assuming it's a price reduction, how much is the reduction?
IIRC it was like 10% just enough to save you on S&H. We are still working on this end to get the coupon issue resolved.
Thank you for the response Darqflame! I went ahead and pre-ordered without the code, but like someone else said, the 10% just about negates your shipping charge, which is nice.
