Hold the horse, Allegory was muted?

But.. why? How? Didn't know it was even possible to mute Al.

Sounds to me he got off easy with just being muted. A ban would be far more effective.

There's not really much difference between a ban and a mute.

A mute prevents you from posting, and a ban prevents you from posting and additionally nukes every post you've ever made.

Depending on what type of ban, it can also block access to the site completely, which a mute doesn't do. In essence, a mute allows the customer to use the service of the site, but not add to it.
