Thinking about karma, have I mentioned lately just HOW MUCH I miss the rate buttons when I'm on other forums?

Rating is much more satisfying and fast than having to go to the trouble of replying to a post, when I think something in it is really admirable, or very useful, or good quality...or really stupid or immoral, or misinformed.

It's one thing writing out a reply when I think I have something to add to information, or a conversation...but it's another thing posting when all I want to say is "I agree!" or "You are cool!" or "you suck!"

Really? I tend to mostly ignore it. I don't know who rated me or what their reason is. Did he rate me down because my argument is wrong and I should have seen it, or did he rate me down because I'm right and he can't stand it? Did she rate me up because I said something clever, or am I being dumb and she's trying to goad me on? Is it a rating by someone who's opinion I value greatly or someone I don't even know? If I don't know what the rating means then it means nothing at all to me.

Copied because this discussion belongs in here more than that other thread.

Yes, many others.

Some of them don't even require registration to invade post on.

You people failed me on Friday night/Saturday morning. I spent 2 hours on the Blizzard Oboards. Smiley: frown
