The 'Search...' on the left had side of the page...
Please trim the leading and trailing spaces before actually querying your database. If you type ' feather' (with one leading space) and search and then type 'feather '(with one trailing space), you get a different result set. I find this inconsistent, and most likely not the desired behavior.

How I found this: I copied and pasted some text from another place which so happened to have three spaces after it. The search gave me back zero results. I don’t remember what exactly I searched on but to continue the above example, type in 'feather ' (3 trailing spaces). You will get results, but again, a different result set than if you just typed 'feather' (no extra spaces).

Thanks.

Edit: My spaces were either hard to see ot truncated after I hit post, so I indicated in parenthesis how many spaces and where they exist.

I can think of a few cases where I'd want them. Not specifics but I've used the ability to put a space before and after to narrow things down before. It gives much getter power to the search for no cost.

Well, yeah, but multiple spaces should at least be condensed to a single one (I'm not sure why anyone would specifically need to search for X consecutive spaces after a word).

Also, can we please be allowed to use regexes in our searches? Smiley: grin

Ok, I guess it was intended behavior and I can see your point.

Another small request:
Can you change the onblur event (or whatever you are using) to not automatically search? If I type something and then click out of the text box, I don't realy want to search. I came across this because I decided not to search and instead wanted to scroll the page down. I just so happened to click in main frame (on nothing in particular). This caused the search to take place when that's not what I wanted.

Thanks for your time in considering this. I appreciate the feedback to the suggestions!

Edit: Just wanted to add that I couldn't stop snickering when I read:
