Annoying Pinging Banner AdFollow

I don't think that they remove annoying ads simply because they're annoying. I remember that irritating mosquito one staying for a long while, but maybe that was because no one reported it correctly. (see the "Reporting bad ads" stickey)

So, your options that are left are
A. Turn your sound off.
B. Refresh the page till it's gone.
C. Get firefox/noscript/adblock.

EDIT: I guess they do remove sound ads, according to the FAQ, but you haven't reported it correctly, go read the thread to find out how to report it correctly, and that will help them get rid of it.

Ads that play a sound when you load the page, especially if they play a sound constantly are not something we want on our pages. Please report them.

The "how to report a bad ad" post helps us find and remove those types of ads much more quickly than us spamming refresh which can be much more time consuming than you'd think.

Yeah it was that ad that got wowhead and thottbot to shut off their ads. I thought it wasn't running on here since nobody had complained and I couldn't get it to show up with a lot of refreshes. We've removed all remnant ads for now until we are sure we got the company that was sending it to shut it off.
