When making a guide for the Wiki, which is preferred?

A multi-page guide, with each main heading living on its own page

-or-

A one page guide of epic proportions?

Edit: If I make it a one page thing now and need to split it later, how would I go about changing the name of the first page? Or would the first page just be an intro and link to the rest of the guide?

I'd think it varies depending upon the nature of the guide, but it usually makes sense to split off certain parts of the guide into different sections. Looking at my Macro (WoW) guide, I kept the basics in one section but made the Useful Macros (WoW) another page, linked off the original, and then I further split it by class for easier linking. For my upcoming Wikification/rewrite of my Warrior guide I'm probably going to include all the base information in one page, but put the more specialized/detailed topics - Slam rotations and autoattack timing, talents, abilities - into different pages.
