Hey I'm having a bit of trouble making things not look horrible on things like boss pages where there's the sidebar with the abilities, gold drops, etc and a table of contents box. For example. Look how goofy that Table of Contents box looks on this page.

The worst part is that you can't really fix it in preview mode because the sidebar boxy thing only shows up on save, not on preview. Smiley: glare

Check the page again. Adding

above the first header forced the ToC (and the first line) to render underneath the mob info pane, which isn't ideal but it works. Trying to see if there's an easier way to do it, but for the moment it looks like no. There should be a way to force the TOC to appear elsewhere, but it's not currently implemented, so your choices are the way the page is now, the way it was before (stacked boxes) or no ToC at all.

EDIT: No TOC at all would be done by adding __NOTOC__ somewhere on the page.

Thanks RP (you #&$^@*&$^) Smiley: grin

That is much better but still pretty hokey. Maybe Blud will swing by and breezily give us simple way of doing it.

Just a follow-up here to anyone else who may be wrestling with this:

I should have realized (and RP probably knew this but I didn't twig to it from his post), the table of contents seems to appear directly to the right of the first header item listed in it. In other words, it's "stuck to" or linked to that line that stretches off to the right of the header line.

So if you position that header item in a better spot (I used several
tags on the page mentioned, on another page I actually just added an "Overview" header item to get the ToC to appear higher up on the page where the heck I wanted it to) you can make it look a little more normal.
