Mages are not a good BG class unless perhaps you're talking premade BGs, which is a tiny percentage of BGs. Frost mages fare poorly in 1v1, especially without double iceblock and water elemental.

Problems in arena are more due to the fact that putting focus on a Mage almost completely disables them if you use a Hunter or Rogue. Furthermore, the class is not paticularly frail in group PvP in any bracket except 2s unless there is a Hunter present. They fare much better vs Melee pain trains than sl/sl warlocks.

This should really be left out altogether unless we want in depth information. At the very least it should be edited.

You might want to go into the History and see who wrote it, and then use a PM to at least let them know about this thread. Otherwise chances are they won't see it, at least not for a while.
