On some pages (mostly posts in =21), I'm noticing 600+ items being downloaded. These cause the pages to take forever to load. It happens on basic thread views and responses. Any ideas on what's doing this?
I'm using IE6 and the new format.

You might want to turn down your posts per page setting if it's too high. Also, check if your web cache is disabled.
I admit I'm curious which threads are downloading 600 items. I can't get anywhere near that many to be requested in any of the random threads I clicked.
If possible, you may want to update your browser as well. Although I realize it's not always possible.

Whatever happened with this, it's stopped doing it. :) I noticed it stopped about 2 weeks ago. :P
