seems to be ******* What it has started to do is tell me that a post is new even after I have viewed it. Normally after the second time it has been marked as a new post it is then marked as old, just gets quite annoying expecting to see a new post but there isnt actually one.

Got it. If I were to guess, I would say your browser cache is corrupted. Try Logging out of the site entirely, go to a different page other than the forums so the arrow isn't showing, then clear the cache, history, and all temp files. then log back in and see if that fixes the issue.

Also, ahve you changed your browser settings recently, or added a script blocker of any sort? Which browser are you using? I couldn't see that part in the video.

Ok I did all that and it doesnt seem to be a problem any more.

(I closed down the browser after clearing all the things and it auto installed firefox 2.0.0.16, all of my computers were having the same issue, but only with firefox, ie was ok. Not sure if it was what you told me that fixed the issue or the upgrade)
