I specifically wanted to address you because you're the admin who admittedly nuked the threads and posters of the OoT Pokemon threads.

I would like to know where on this site such threads should be posted. Some could go into the multi-game forum, sure, but many of the Pokemon threads had nothing to do with the game. Many had to do with the anime, and others just had to do with personal preference and information of the Pokemon themselves. Some of these things seem to be out of topic to a MMORPG site in my opinion, which is the reason for the Out of Topic forum no? If there is a correct forum for such threads perhaps you could have just moved them instead of karma bombing and nuking them.

I wonder with the changes that you expect from the OoT in being more helpful and welcoming how that works with the rest of the "hierarchy." Many of the problems of the OoT you said were things such as too much cliquishness and opinion sharing, which leaves the outsiders that you are trying to protect out of the loop.

If someone posts a 4 year old rehashed youtube video as their first post, don't split them open from stem to stern and use their guts for garters, maybe welcome them to the forum and let them know politly that they probably don't want to do that in the future. And then rate them down if you need to. whatever. But don't blast them into the next century for being a beginner.

It was your opinion that the Pokemon of the Day threads got old and were spam, while plenty of other posters were enjoying them. Some posters also didn't enjoy them, but hey at least it wasn't one big clique because that would be bad right?

Now after I posted my Pokemon of the Day thread today, you immediately nuked it and sent me a pretty nasty PM asking if I was trying to **** you off. I didn't receive an attempt to help redirect me, or tell me politely why I shouldn't post such threads. If you expect us to extend the same courtesy to others, shouldn't you be trying to show us by example as well? I was shown hostility and threats over my thread, whether it is on the board or in PM, it was still hostile.

On the issue of you telling me the threads are spam and will be considered such, that is ridiculous. I sat down and typed up my post with knowledge that I have of the Pokemon that my thread was dedicated to. And I looked up some things that I believed would be helpful information for others to understand them. It wasn't a +1, and the threads occurred only once a day (twice on one day when one person made a slow post) if that, so I hardly see it as spam.

If Pokemon is not out of topic, than I would like to know where it belongs. If it is out of topic, and you personally dislike it or are annoyed by it, than you are just as guilty as the members of the OoT for lashing out at new users for posts that they dislike or are annoyed by.

I would like to use this as feedback that there should be a place for threads such as Pokemon threads. If there already is I would like to know why the threads were not moved there or left where they were. I would also like to leave feedback that when making a request to the community in regards to courtesy, you should use some when dealing with the established members in dealing with other issues.

After 2 weeks of it, enough was enough. This isn't the bloody pokemon forums. I'm sure you can find a suitable pokemon forum using a search engine easy enough.

My "hostile" PM to you was actually far nicer than the fate which I said was going to occur to the next idiot to post one of those threads. A warning was a courtesy. Next time I will not bother.

When an administrator tells you to stop posting such threads, and you then continue to do so, despite knowing full well that they had been deemed annoying spam previously (you posted in every one of the nuked threads, including the last one prior to this AFTER I said I was going to nuke any further such threads, so I damned well know you knew better.

That phrase you quoted applies to noobs. Not 3k posters who sure as hell should know better by now.

An estableshed member would do well to not try and deliberatly **** off admins on a repeated basis, then maybe a certain poster would be granted some courtesy.
