I'm not sure if his votes count, because all the names he really wanted for Alla were taken and his actual username is something along the lines of "buttcheesemaster."
RE: The concerns about CP coming to Alla
Alla isn't 4chan. It never was and never will be. For one thing, 4chan is pretty much unmoderated. The bulletin board system they use was designed to share graphics; Alla doesn't allow anyone to post pictures without paying them money for the privledge. And frankly, the userbase here at All is a bit more mature than the average /b/tard. You haven't heard of any subsect of =10 going rogue and protesting Scientology either.
I'm an anime fan that got into MMOs through Final Fantasy games, not the other way around. A great many anime fans are actually women, in their late twenties and thirties, married with kids or on the way there, and the worst you have to deal with from us is squeals of fangirlishness. Anyone that argues that there are no girls on the internet never hung around in my roleplay IRC channel, Innocent Maidens and Turtles, where there were No Boys Allowed. Bachan, the venerable grandmother of the Inuyasha fandom, was 54 years old when she passed a few years from breast cancer. (There was a fascinating rivalry between her faction and the faction of Urd, a 44 year old mother of 3. I was in the Bachan camp, which made running panels with Urd very awkward.)
Okay, that got really rambly. My point is, if you think that the extent of anime fandom is limited to the denizens of 4chan, then you don't really know anime fandom.
