While I like the content of this site. It is nearly impossible to use due to all the pop-up adds that block the page.

Hmm, I thought allakhazam was good about limiting annoying pop ups and used mostly banner ads.

Are you sure you aren't infected with some adware?

There shouldn't be any popups at all on the site. If they are happening very frequently it is possible that your computer is infected with adware.
