this is probably the most linked to and useful post on the SAM forums in the last year. it provides relevant gear/food information for SAMs from level 10-75 and endgame, and answers many questions that we get asked on a weekly basis. since we don't really have a non-outdated "list of useful threads" sticky, i think this thread should be stickied (i also don't think we necessarily need a "list of useful threads" sticky, personally).
There are already 4 stickies in there, 1 more than is generally allowed. Someone would need to combine it with one of the existing ones before we would sticky it. Creating a combo sticky would result in an automatic stickying.

please see this thread, particularly about how filian wants his redundant equip guide unstickied. i also believe we should unsticky the two bradyguide-esque "SAM101" type posts, but perhaps only after someone (hopefully not me) writes a good post on the same topic (both threads contain outdated, erroneous information about subjobs, gear, and stats).
Filian no longer has a thread stickied.
Threads get unstickied when A. The author requests they be unstickied, or B. When anyone makes a combo sticky. Those are the only two ways we will unsticky a thread. The current 4 stickies are:

Unless someone writes a combo sticky, or one of those 4 authors requests an unsticky, the other thread is not being stickied.
Threads get unstickied when A. The author requests they be unstickied, or B. When anyone makes a combo sticky. Those are the only two ways we will unsticky a thread. The current 4 stickies are:

filian is darthquixote, and mentions his desire to have his thread unstickied in his stickied thread. note that clicking darthquixote leads to filian's profile.
edit: obviously, regarding the 2 (bad) "general stickies", 1 of us posters needs to make a combo sticky (that perhaps links to both as a piece of misguided history), which of course hasn't happened yet. maybe i'll do it or bsphil will (shrug).

Damnit, this is why we shouldn't let people change names. Argh. Ok, unstickied that one, stickieng the other one. Still should only have 3 though.

thanks. like i said, at this point i think it's really on the community to make a worthwhile sticky, since the 2 non-equip guides are pretty misleading and irrelevant. hopefully that will get done (i'm trying to shirk responsibility, but i don't think it will work).

Milich, If absolutely necassary I,(a random long time sam) can try and create a post, but I will need a little help as I am not good with computers.
I will read the current stickies and then try and remake/reform them into a new post. I check this site very often so I can regularly check for insight.
