Socket errorsFollow

What the heck is going on with these? Is one of the servers down, but none of the others, or what?

good to see i'm not the only one getting them, code is this:

Bad arg length for Socket::pack_sockaddr_in, length is 0, should be 4 at /usr/lib/perl/5.8/Socket.pm line 201, <GEN0> line 27.

Yeah, asked Kao about it on IRC. Apparently they're upgrading one of the DB servers, and that's what's causing the problems.

More like retiring an old server that wasn't used for anything but irc and one of our name servers. There was a minor configuration issue which caused some errors for a few minutes. They should be gone, now.

The best part was when IRC blooped out of existance for a few minutes and no one told us ahead of time to expect it haha!
