Hmm, long shot here, but could you possibly track down the poor ******* that's using Turin and ban him so I can have it?

With as many images as you have uploaded, you most likely will need to wait to have a programmer change your name.

Smiley: glare

I PM'd I think Nizdaar about it awhile back but didn't get anywhere with it. Apparently at one point there was someone around using the name Turin, but I gather that whoever it is no longer posts here. I just want the name resurrected.

That person hasn't used that account since 2005, the name is yours if you want it.

THEN!

Go back to the options screens, under the Advanced tab. Clear your cache:

Clear private data doesn't delete your cookies or cache unless you set up the browser that way.

Yes I was bored when I wrote this, and I like to make guides.

Good guide, thank you :p

I performed this procedure as well, and restarted FireFox - no change. I know it deleted things, because I had to log back in, but there must be something else in this browser that is hidden. And for the record, the "new" version of the Clear Private Data button actually takes you to a new popup box that allows you to place a check mark in Cache and Cookies so that it can allegedly delete them.

FireFox is secure as hell, but sometimes I really hate it.

I don't see a difference in your name, and none of your images are broken. Smiley: frown

All her avatars are broken. Her admin user page says Terrain and all her new posts, the ratings say Terrain. Not a clue why her posting name and regular user page isn't showing properly.

Very odd. Sounds like it's a sign that you shouldn't have to do any more name changes, DF. Smiley: nod

I don't know. I cleared everything out of IE and hopped onto here just for ***** and giggles, but no change here either. As I type this the "From" section's hyperlink is TerrainFFXI.

Not only did I break cookies, but I also broke the whole alla!

There's probably a file hiding somewhere. Don't worry about it.

I think it's the account, not sure if it's because you have a journal or not. But I can change your name, break your avs, then change your name back and the avs come back. Freakiest wild thing I have ever seen. If you want to make a new acct with "Terrain" let me know and we will get you all set up. I can give you post count and maybe the sage...

I think it's the journal, kill it.

Hey, if she doesn't want that sage, I'll take it.

Might as well not let it go to waste, right? O.o

In my defense, neither of those journal threads were even started by me :p

I can't find a place to nuke the threads, but I found a cool button to nuke the posts. I couldn't care less whether that journal goes away, if it helps.

EDIT: I found a way to disable it. Was that what you were talking about?

EDIT2: well would cha look at that. I think you found the problem!
