It's a bit unorthodox Follow

But, could this site host StarCraft II?

I know it's out of your genre of MMO's, but lets face the facts, you've hosted lolfail MMO's. I think hosting a RTS would increase the dynamics of the site.

I would agree with this if there were some call for increasing the Korean population of the site.

They have their Korean forums. Really no motivation for them to come to an English site. Much like this site isn't flooded with FFXI players from Japan.

I think if this site passes on this opportunity solely because it's not an MMO would be a blunder.

StarCraft II can easily be considered the best PC release game of 2009 and the game isn't even out yet. I'd use my premium for more than a title, and a ***** avatard if StarCraft II were actually hosted.

Starcraft II will really be no different than any of Blizzard's previous RTS games. People are just being led on by Blizzard's **** teasing. Will it be fun? Ya. Will it be new and different? No. It'd be like adding a section just for FFXIII.

I really don't feel it belongs. Anymore than Starcraft, Diablo I/II, and Warcraft I/II/III.

=22, for all your General Gaming needs!

I would like to see a SC2 site on here. That would be awesome.

I am indifferent on this issue. Although I think it would be cool to have, and I definitely am excited about SC2, I don't know how much you can do with a site like this on a non-MMO. I don't see what kinds of stuff you'd have other than a forum, and even then it seems that the gaming forum would be enough for that. Doesn't mean it's a bad idea though, maybe just needs more thought.

The problem is, Blizzard's manuals are usually very descriptive when it comes to Units, What they do, What they cost, etc.

You'd end up with a site that was nothing more than a copy of the game manual, and a forum that discusses various tactics. We already have the forums.

I think an SC2 wiki is more feasible.
