@alla.com email spamFollow

I got two emails sent to my @alla.com account this morning, both containing attachments and marked as Spam. One was titled SPAM RE: answer 2, the other was Mail 3945.

That is what was in the e-mails, and it showed a preview of some graphic thing with the text about shipping worldwide. Not sure what it is, and not clicking the links. Just givings a heads up.

"Why did I get a virus from name@allakhazam.com?"

It's a common feature of spam and viruses. Using email addresses and subject lines that you may be familiar with to try and trick you into opening them.

If you no longer wish to receive these types of emails, you will need to turn off "Publicise email" option on your user settings page. We cannot control spoof and spam.

I had to turn off the publication of my email here because I was getting upwards of 300 emails/day...all of them spam.

I never bothered publicizing my e-mail in the first place.

People want to e-mail me, I'm not that hard to find.
