Entire threads that were filled with good or excellent posts have been nuked down to decent or default for no reason. An example is Dynamis Pickup Groups in the FFXI Endgame forum. The last time I read this thread, the OP was Excellent and posts from edelphia, lolgaxe+1, etc, were at at Excellent as well. Now they're all good or decent.

I don't mind so much if someone is purposely rating me down because they hate me, cuz I've pissed a lot of people off over the years. But there's absolutely no reason that this calm rational discussion filled with solid contributions from many members should have been bombed this way. I can only guess that someone was being vindictive because we disagreed with them.
It's been happening in other threads as well, but this one in particular irked me.

They appear to have hit the FFXI main forum too. Whole thread are downrated from before with no apparent rhyme or reason.

under 1k posters - a good night of camping they could end up sub-d
2k-5k - Will take a little work but their karma is movable.
6k-9k - Unless they post alot on forums and have done so recently, they probably wont be moved (or unless they **** off an admin - course admins have been getting soft lately..heh)
10k+ you are an idiot for even trying to karma bomb them. The admins should have an automatic idiot tag for anyone that even attempts to rate posts of 10k+.
