Feedback on Zam.comFollow

Hmm, maybe I'm overlooking it but if I choose the wow forums from the dropdown above there and go to the wow forums on the zam.com skin, there is no drop down to access the wiki that I can see. I need to change to the wow skin to get to it.

That would be correct, I noticed that yesterday.

Even with widening the fixed width value... it's still not right.

Notice this person's posting name is squished into his/her post. What's the point of all that blue stuff on the sides?

Or is there a set width for the user stats area also?

EDIT: Image removed.

The name issue is due to too many allowed characters to be used in a user name, we've had this issue for quite awhile now. I was told it wasn't going to be changed, IMO it's tacky and looks unprofessional. I only manage, not program, I can't do anything about that except continue to ***** about it.

As I have stated more than once, I don't recall which threads and I am not going to look them up, the template is made that way for skinning the background. For example, when the next kick *** game expansion comes out, we will probably skin the background with the expansion information. Like Wowhead did for Wotlk just recently, if you didn't see that, then perhaps you've seen how myspace skins when a new movie comes out.

Okay. As long as there is a good reason for it. Either way, it looks a lot better than it did when the new template was first launched. I didn't know you'd already explained it elsewhere because I've just been checking up on this thread.

EDIT: I wish I could type like I knew how...

There may be a good technical reason for it but the thin forum still looks like crap. This being the thread for feedback, there ya go.

Is it just me, or do some of the uploaded photos look... distorted under the new skin? It's not all of them, just a few that don't seem to jive well with the new zam.com.

I'm using Firefox 3.0.7.

Now distorted. Sized down. Any pics wider than the forced width of the black section of the new skin are squished until they fit.

I never really noticed that he typed that badly... or does he do a million edits to fix spelling errors he sees after posting like I do?

EDIT: Forgot to put first quote in post...

Thanks for fixing the lost posts bug and the "annoyingly invisible hyperlinks" so quickly. I just took a bit of time to get round to telling you I noticed.

I gotcha.

Dear Developers,

Please can be fixing this soon.

It's more evident in IRC. My poor typing skills are legendary. They will be the basis for a made for TV movie later this year!

Sounds like it'll be a real channel changer.

I can't set my post filter below default. Smiley: frown

ETA: I actually can't change it at all. It's always at default. =(
