For some reason (I read a post about this a few days ago but I can't find it)I am unable to change my ratings filter from default, unable to hide images and unable to change my posting preference higher or lower than 50. I saw the exact same problem in the aforementioned post I read a few days ago and I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue as well or if it was only me?

I'm having the same issues. I'm using Firefox v 3.07. This happened about a week ago as well. I hope this gets fixed quickly.

Also, not sure if its related, the forums are not remembering which threads I have read. They keep showing up as new.

I was reading through threads this morning and thinking "what the hell are these people talking about? I swear it's like they're responding to different threads or something." I didn't even notice that my filter had reset. Smiley: laugh

But seriously, enough with the messy bugs. Smiley: mad

Yes, this needs to be fixed. How else can I see what ridiculous conspiracies gbaji's concocted about simple questions he's been asked.

Especially annoying on threads with multiple pages. I have read Catwho's post in the Asylum about the abortion email probably half a dozen times. Smiley: mad

I just noticed this problem this morning, and I thought it was a setting I had to tweak in Firefox/Noscript. But then I tried changing my forum setting through Internet Explorer, and had the same problem. So it doesn't look like it's browser specific.

I never realized how much I would miss seeing sub-d replies. While the forums may be cleaner and less flaming may possibly be occurring as a result, I'm missing some idiots posting and it's much more boring at work now.

Same problems as everyone else, but new threads don't show up in yellow anymore and the little green "+" keep showing up after I read threads. -.-

At present, it appears that you only stay logged in if you are viewing the site from the new ZAM news template.

I stay logged in on the wow template. The settings are still borked.

Staying logged in is not a problem, saving my filter settings are. I cleared my cookies before reading this thread, seeing as how that fixes similar problems often. Well, took me about 5 tries to get logged back in.

It looks like they got the login issue fixed. Works for me too now.

This site is so slow to load, or won't load at all, when bandwidth is very throttled back, so being able to change user settings is important. But for myself at home, I have always counted on being able to see the sub-default settings. That's where most of the BEST bits are!

A suggestion, since most people seem to want to see the sub-d posts (who doesn't like a good train wreck?), when you get a Dev fixing this, think they could have "Never Filter" as the default setting?
