Today my "Private Messages" hyperlink in the lower left corner of the "header" of the site pages wasn't showing that I had any new messages.
But the "Private Messages" hyperlink in the far upper right of the site pages, up beside my user name, showed I had "1 new message". I pressed that link, and I indeed had a new message.

Same thing happened to me when I got my PM for Daily Winner. I figured it was just me seeing the message too quickly, but it turned out to be like 2hrs after it was sent.
Still showing "2 New Messages" even though I've read 'em all.
Tried clearing cache.
Please fix it, or I will post 3D spider pics to Kaolian.

Suddenly I have 1 unread message, but then I open my PM box, it is as cold and lonely as my bitter old heart. =(
Ignored people on your PM lists can do that...somewhat common knowledge but wasn't mentioned in this post yet, might check that.
