It's really starting to annoy me. Smiley: lol It's like they fixed the "Registration is required to post in this forum" while logged in thing.. but screwed up waaay to much stuff doing so.

Also, when in a forum and not in a thread the thingy down at the bottom that now says "0 Messages skipped by filter settings, 2 displayed." doesn't have a background of any sorts.

I don't like the "recent visitors" tag to appear on the right, when it appears on the left once you've clicked it.

Dunno 'bout anyone else, but the original was more aesthetically pleasing. The fonts now look ... out of place.

On the WoW template, that isn't really an issue. But I do miss that the forum you were currently in was clickable (a link), and now is just a greyed out word showing were you are. I basically used it as a refresh button.

I really miss the Preferences link on the right hand top. Sure I can click "My Account) on the left hand side of the screen... but I'm so used to just hitting Preferences.

Maybe I'll get over it...

Like every change made before, I like the old version more. Like every time before, I'll get over it and grow accustomed to the new look and then when you change it yet again, I'll like the old new version more than the new new version. The cycle shall begin anew.

I liked it way better before. Only because after I usually get done reading the last post I just click on the link at the bottom to go back to the main forums.

This thread has gone on pretty long with no admin input :(

Was it done on purpose, etc?

Yeah.. except all the previous times I didn't like the change because it was a change, I didn't want it to change! This time however.. it just looks silly compared to before and some of the functions that were used a lot from before are no longer there.

I'm not 100% sure what the driving force behind some of these changes were. I will investigate.

Edit: regarding the Recent visitors rollup, that saves interface space at the top, Something I am in favor of.

Edit 2: I suspect, but do not have clarification on, that the"bread crimb" change was due to implementing a different codeing method than the one that was there before. If I remember right, that portion of the forum was actually created by a secondary application. That may be why it dissappeared from the bottom. Making it smaller shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'll see if I can't get someone to put it back on the bottom though, or maybe replace it on te bottom with a "quick jump" style drop down box instead.

Excellent. See? Nag, ***** and moan enough, and you get what you want. That's the only lesson we should take from this, right guys?

At 5k it would take a long time for anyone to move you that much plus many of your posts are at least several years old (which can't be rate camped) Besides, campers get noticed and tend to end up no rated (at the least end) or karma spanked (at the worst)

Happy 22500 posts, Kao. You know I love you, right?

And Nio: I know how the rating system works, it was a jab at Kao which could very well end up with my account being a smoldering ruin within... well, 3.25 minutes.

Huh? All they did was shrink the text a bit and move it to the right, there is no reason for the link to be crammed up by the ads. I swear, If I click an ad instead of recent visitors one more time, I'll probably murder someone.
