It kills kittens.

Srslytho, I'm curious as to why threads in this forum are being locked by DF now. I understand that they're resolved, but I'm simply wondering why it's common practice to lock them now. Is it a marker of sorts to show issues already resolved?

I would ask this through PM, but I can't be the only one to wonder this. =P

Part of it is probably that. The other part is likely to keep some of our more creative posters from derailing threads here and flooding the forum with posts that don't need to be here.

You forgot to lock the thread!

Quick, derail!!!

But seriously, I'd guess it's much easier to see what's done/not done by locking them.

I can't imagine what you would mean by this statement, and would like to request a full explanation, please.

Also, Batman on Fire.

I have been locking threads here for a long time. This forum is for feedback, not parties. If the OP issue has been resolved there is no need to leave the thread open for ridiculous bumpage and +1's. Also, hopefully devs will realize the OP issue is not resolved if a thread is not locked.
