Try clearing your cookies and cache. If that doesn't fix it, reinstall Firefox. If that still doesn't fix it, wipe your hard drive, shut the computer off for at least a day, and then reinstall Windows.

Anyone stupid enough to fall for my suggestion isn't smart enough to know how to get a copy of Linux, much less install it.
Few things say /facepalm like installing Ubuntu on someone's machine and having them call you later and ask "Where's 'My Computer'?"

I thought it was pretty obvious the second I moved into a forum and everyone was the same colour as the Admins. I still want my damn "ban stupid" button.
