About the page on Skinning...Follow

I have a few comments on a specific page...

Regarding the Skinning page:

You *can* get leather from turtles, both pieces like Heavy Leather and Thick Leather, and full hides as well. In fact, the turtles at Steamwheedle Port and on the beach in the Hinterlands actually drop more leather than Turtle Scale. Likewise scorpions and dragonlings more commonly give off leather than their Scorpid Scale and Black/Red/Green/etc Whelp Scale respectively.

Also, the formulae "To determine what level of creature/beast that can be skinned with your current level" is not correctly stated, in that it should say, as Blizzard does in their Skill Window note "... Once your skill is above 100 you can divide your skill by 5 to determine the highest level of monster you can skin." This is only important to low level players just starting out rather than experienced players, but hey, which is more likely to look up this page?

Finally, the mention of in-inventory possession of a skinning knife ought to be expanded to mention that other items exist such as the Gnomish Army Knife to help save inventory space by getting rid of the knife and the flint and tinder for fires.

I realize that this article was otherwise written very well, I just wish there was a section underneath for me to put these comments.

If you're referring the wiki page:

wow.allakhazam.com/wiki/skinning_(wow)

You can edit it yourself, that's the point of the wiki ;)

If you click that link you will have to add the last paren to the URL for it to work correctly... Smiley: mad

Kel is correct, it's a wiki, you can edit that yourself.

I don't recall the reason, but it's dumb. Does it in irc channels too.
