A few months ago I switched over to using Firefox from using Opera.

When I used Opera, threads would be a light, almost gray color if I had read them, and if I hadn't read them, they'd be a bold white color.

But now in Firefox I don't get this, they are always bold white, never marked as read.

I've enabled cookies, allowed allakhazam in no script, etc.

What setting am I missing?

That should be a browser specific setting. You don't have any odd link formats or specialized stylesheets specified do you?

Hmmm, so it is.

Turns out there is a difference between turning off the "Keep Browser History" and Setting it to 0 days...

0 Days = Threads get marked as read.
Off = No marking.

Edit:
I thought maybe it was a cookie or account settings, because I've visited two other forums that keep track of my viewed threads regardless of which computer I'm using. (Must have been stored in the account somewhere).

Logging on at work, and viewing a thread, then if I went home and looked to that same thread on the same account, it would already be marked as read.

On this topic, my "marked as thread" marker doesn't mark stuff after I've opened the thread, just when I click on the thread title. This is only an issue when I click on a second page or the "go to last post" button (or when I've made a new post in the thread and go back to the forum), but it can still be annoying when I like to have all the threads I'm caught up on marked as such (by the thread title not being bolded any more, which is what happens when I click ont he thread title itself) so I know when there has been a new post.

There's probably not anything that can be done, but I thought I'd throw it out there. A very minor complaint Smiley: tongue.
