I've used Allakhazam Live for a long time now. Yesterday I discovered that you can view the posts in full, rather than just a preview. Is this new? I don't remember it being an option before.

Anyway, I've enabled that. It's really nice. However, a very strange issue has emerged. If I click on "Reply to this" on a post from within Allakhazam Live, it brings up the post text box like normal. However, when I post the post, It's like it creates a new thread, where the post I replied to is the first post of the thread. The thread doesn't show up in the index if I look at the regular forum listing (not on Live). The replies don't show up in those threads if I click them from the regular forum listing (not on Live). They show up in Live, but if I click on them all that shows is the post I replied to and my reply.

Here's a screenshot of part of the anomaly.

Notice the post where I just used a smiley. Over in the bottom right corner it says "one reply." Yet it's not shown.

Here's that same post with it's reply, but to show it as you see in this picture, I linked from Live.

Ya, I found this out earlier too.

You can post in a thread, but change the forum number and it will create an invisible thread in the new forum number. And your replies don't show up in the original thread, but they do register are replies in the original thread.

Kao said it was the way the forum was set up.

This thread here.

This happens any time you remove the root thread from a posting URL. Basically, it starts a new sub-thread off of the post in question. It also bumps said post to be most recent in the root thread, even if it is old. See the time on the post below.

Smiley: lol While finding a good Dalek pic, I came across an article about a British **** video called "Abducted by the Daloids" with a pic of two girls and a Dalek on the cover.

EDIT:

Wow! I didn't know you could get it to work off of the first post of a thread. I see how you did it, but I'm surprised it's never happened to me before, what with links from the news page always putting things in 50-post view and making me exit and re-enter threads after posting just so I can see my post.
