Well congratulations on a harder to navigate interface...fewer features...slow searches...and a fee? Based on what I have seen I will keep my 30 bucks in my wallet.

There isn't a single feature on the EQ2 site that requires a premium subscription, other than anything forum related, currently.

Several features require you to be logged in such as broker watches, but accounts are free.

Which features are missing that were on the old site? It's possible we overlooked something when rewriting everything.

As for some pages being slow, we're aware of those and are currently working on fixing the speed issues. We don't like the site being slow any more than you do.

Well, on the old site, all newly updated and added items were listed right on the front page. New quests, items, whatever. I think that was a very useful bit of information. Now, all that is posted on the first screen are contest winners, which really, who cares about unless you are the contest winner??

So, unless I am missing something, the old site had information better presented.

We've moved away from displaying updates and changes to any site we automatically collect all the information from. It became a huge wall of text every day. Not to mention any time (which is quite often for EQ2) the item/quest/whatever structure changes every single entry for that structure needs to be updated. It moves away from useful and towards useless spam.

WoW and WAR have a recent changes page but our info for those games does not come from the game company itself. It slowly dribbles in all day long. With sony there would be no changes at all to a page like that and then there would be more changes to list after we get updated game files than could feasibly fit on a page.

Maybe in the future we can figure something out. Right now though the data structures are constantly changing. You'd just end up with a list of 110k item updates alone every time we updated items.

Is it possible to get notifications or see date of entries for new quests. Sometimes a new quest is added to an old zone and you would never really know about it unless you passed by the questgiver one day. Would be great, for questaholics, to be able to see when new quests become available or get notifications for this. Thank you.

Not at this time. Same reason as my previous post.

Well the daily updates was really the only reason to go to the site... to see what has changed. Now that it is gone, what is the incentive to come here as opposed to the other informational sites? That was your edge or niche in the market.

The broker link is nice, but unless you are a market player its not really very helpful for the daily grind.
