But asking again can't hurt.... right?

Is there any way to make a filter that allows you to see "unrated" posts, or make it so that any old user on the site is unable to unrate a post? It's extremely difficult to come into a thread and follow a discussion when it looks like posters are talking to themselves. And it's not just Varrus anymore, apparently.

As far as "the karma system is working as intended," that's simply not the case, as many people (myself included) have taken to rating posts up that we otherwise might not have in an effort to keep a conversation from becoming incoherent or an entire thread from disappearing, thus negating the ability to carry on a conversation that might've been happening regardless of what the OP was.
