Is a premium person PM's emoticons or images to a non-premium person, can the non-premium person see them? I know they can on the forums (obviously) but I also know the PMs are different where the receiving person "owns" their copy of the PM.

Yes, I could PM a non=premium person and ask. I'm making someone earn their wages!

The image function currently isn't enabled in the PM system. Emoyicon visibility depends on the premium status of the person sending the message.

The PM system is basically a 2007 era version of the forum posting code. Updates (like a replied to this and forwarded this PM icon) amongst other things have been requested.

I've noticed that, if I put quotations around anything in a PM and someone replies to me with my message included, the quotes turn into ". For instance it would say, "text inside quotation marks".

It's very odd.

Okaaay... The stuff I had written was transformed into quotation marks. Very odd....

So, uh, nevermind I guess?

I know what you meant. Usually on replying to someone " in the subject line becomes
&quote&quote

If you see a buggy PM, please forward it to me (OK to replace sensitive text with other words if it still produces the error) and i'll put in a request to get it fixed.
