Is it possible to introduce a minimum-post count before one can make a new thread or edit the wiki/etc?
The WoW forum always has its daily spammers/trolls/etc for worthless posts, which has been remedied mostly by the 'report' post feature (thank you for finally implementing that feature, I have used it dozens of times, I believe by now).
But say before you can create your own thread you have to have over 15 posts (or any other number deemed proper).
I guess this would cut down on useless threads, but when I think about it the spammers may just end up posting at the end of other threads needlessly bumping them. Either way, may help cut back at least a bit throughout the forums.

The karma system makes it pretty easy for those idiot posters to get filtered out. and if it doesn't get them... I do!

I've found admin response time to have been sped up immensely thanks to the report feature.
We try to maintain a low barrier to entry for posting on the forums. This would increase that barrier to entry.
Considering the number of posts we get a day we have a very low percentage of spam. Over the years our methods have improved and are to the point where there just isn't much more we can do without adversely affecting the experience a legitimate user would have.

The new posts make easier targets for the report feature and the admins have been pretty quick to respond. There's just something satisfying about watching "mggrrgllll" and his post about "Emily lusts for WoW Gold" vanish within minutes of being reported.
Fair enough, just wanted to throw it out there.
