There's very little need to ever use the search feature anyway. It's more of a gimmick if you aren't doing some heavy-duty posting, or trying to find incredibly old threads.

you can use google to search the forums with a little extra effort on your part if you like. however your premium money helps fund my salary along with other site enhancements, such as search functions and new forum toys, so we do appriciate our premium members very much.

It's worth it. Zam has done so many improvements over the years - we customers can clearly see that our money has been put to good use.

I find the balance between free services and premium services to be pretty decent here. The premium features are nice enough that when I have the extra money, it's worth it to me to have premium. When I don't have the cash for premium at the moment, the functionality of the site is still such that I frequent it.

No. I am putting in a request that not be an allowed option as it makes posts WAY too long, screws up results in threads that have an actual poll and are just down right obnoxious.

at just under 300 posts your karma will fluctuate easily, we could probably sage you and then subdefault you in an hour. Don't complain about it too much, it's like dumping chum in shark filled waters while scuba diving during menstruation...
