This thread is gone now? Was it by request of the poster or did an admin think it was in violation of WoW's rules?

Not at all. We remove surveys until we hear from the person wanting to put it up. Once we do and I've checked it out, as long as the thing is ok, we have no issue with them being up on the site.
The original post started as one thing and ended up with that survey. In the wow faq, it does state that the user needs to contact the admin before tossing those up so we can check em out is all.

Fair enough. I figured if it was an issue with a survey, you guys would just remove the link rather than taking out the entire post.
