I have dabbled in website design for my own use but have lost my touch. I wish to create pictures that show under my sig and my username yet can't get either to work. I kept the Avatar, <isnt this the pic under username?> within the 120 x 120 parameter yet nothing shows. A friend messed with a sig picture and it came up as below. What am I doing wrong?

Please keep it in simple terms for I am self taught and not familar with the technical terms used in the field.

Any help will be put to paper not my brain as I wish to remember what I learn and am an old lady.

Sorry for my ignorance but I am willing to learn!

Go to "My Account," then "Forum and Content Settings." The image you uploaded should show up there, just click on it, and it should set it as your avatar.

As for signatures, yeah, you have to use the ones provided by the website, you can't place images in your signature.

They are only available for FFXI and WoW, I believe. For FFXI, to into "Your Characters," and at the bottom of your character information are a bunch of links. One of them is, "Set up signature image." I imagine it's the same with WoW, but I haven't played with either of them in a long while.

It won't be the custom sig you have in your images, though.

FYI I did find a way to put a sig pic on post!

They didnt say they were going to use it on every post just that they found a way. You could have just mentioned the fact that some people may have trouble downloading post with large pictures and done it in a nice way.

Why must some people always pop others bubbles?

So, either:
-Long time reader, first time poster
-Sock

Either way...

Signature images can get ******* annoying, and anyone fudging the rule about not having them here deserves the image, and if they continue, their account banned.

I would seriously advise not making a sock to bolster your post. Consider this a one time only friendly warning (as I mute the sock) to knock it off.
