Is there a reason that a member (or premium member like myself, who has forum search ability) cannot click on a person's name and find old posts by them? I occasionally would like to see what posts a person has made, but not necessarily under a specific topic/etc that they may have said (as I may not know the word for it). Is this not a feature because of karma bombing or just not implemented for some other reaso?

I always assumed this feature wasn't allowed because of Karma camping. You can search your own name to find all your posts, but not other users' names.
The only real use of this feature though, is to find out what number of posts you have in a specific forum.

Exactly. it is disabled due to past karma camping abuses. Admins can do exactly that search.
