I know people had issues with this before the change to the PM system, but I've got this bar on the top of my screen now that tells me I've got one new private message... but there's nothing new in my inbox. Halp?
ETA: When I click "mark as read," it goes away, so never mind... Sorry!

The only time that ever happened to me was when I put somone on ignore and they then sent me a PM. Couldn't see the PM, but could see the notification for it.

It has happened to me a couple of times, even after I've read it and whatnot. I think it's moreso that the "notification" hadn't caught up with you actually reading the item. Then again, I'm usually tabbed out when I finish reading something, so that may have something to do with it as well.

Last night was the first time that I used the forums on my phone. I wonder if that had to do with anything?
I didn't read a PM last night, though...
Anywho, I'm not sure if it's an issue or not. I "Marked it as read" and it went away.
