Avatar issuesFollow

Here's hoping someone can point me in the right direction - I've tried to upload an avatar a few times, making sure the dimensions are within the limits allowed etc.

Each time, I'm ending up with no success (see left) :(

The page allows me to navigate to the image, I select it and hit "upload" (format is jpg, for size considerations) - yet it never appears to work.

Am I missing something bleedingly obvious?

EDIT: Well, it uploaded this time, and in the "Forum and Comment Settings", it's there, with a green border around it, but no luck so far in showing on the forums as far as I can see :(

EDIT 2: And, after posting my edit above, now it's working O.o Mysterious, strange, but /happydance. Thank you most kindly for the help, Darqflame!
