I'm not getting drop downs in FF 3.6.8 with no script for the top menu items in every skin I've tried. Used to be, I could mouse over the top menu, without scripting, and get a drop down of the first menu, and I could mouse-over to the base I wanted, and click on it. Of course, sub-menu would appear also, just below, you couldn't select them, as they'd disappear as you moved down to them, because you'd be over top a different menu item, which would bring up it's sub-menu if it had one below that.

Now I have to click the base item to bring up the first menu on the 2nd horizontal bar, and there the menus, and sub-menus work without scripting. And since the Database menu item on all of the skins / sites I use, has no link, you can't get to those menu items without turning scripting on first.

Anyway,

Was this intentional?

It worked for months without them tho. Just had to do some extra clicking, now if the base menu doesn't have a link, like Database on most games, you can't get to any of it's items without first turning on script.

Assuming, today's change was intentional, can you at least add links to all the base manu items, to something in it's menu? For example, EQ, makes Zones the link for Database, and FFXI make Areas the link for Database, and so on?

Yes I just made a thread the other day about how they were acting, at the time there was a drop down menu for database and my issue was the drop down overlayed instead of having a menu to the side for a sub menu, now there is no menu at all. The behavior was different between no script vs script allowed but there was a menu either way, no script was drop down and script on changed the horizontal menu below database.

You could just allow scripts for Allakhazam. I like Noscript as much as the next guy, but I don't see any point in them adjusting the site to work differently for people who intentionally change how the site works.
