While trying to lock down which items are making invalid items on my Beastlord, I came across this unusual event. If I put a Numinous Boot Symbol in a bag by itself, it processes it as:
Quote:
Item(52299): Weapon Crate of the Mercenary [A box used by mercenaries for storage]
Item(112360): Numinous Boot Symbol of the Skeptic [Numinous Boot Symbol of the Skeptic]
Item(52299): Weapon Crate of the Mercenary [A box used by mercenaries for storage]
It has normal operations and going to the next bag. Next, I exchange a Numinous Glove Symbol with the boot on and it processes it as:
Quote:
Item(52299): Weapon Crate of the Mercenary [A box used by mercenaries for storage]
Item(112411): Numinous Glove Symbol of the Skeptic [Numinous Glove Symbol of the Skeptic]
Item(52299): Weapon Crate of the Mercenary [A box used by mercenaries for storage]
Again, no problems. NOW, I put those boot and glove symbol in that bag and this happens:
Quote:
Item(52299): Weapon Crate of the Mercenary [A box used by mercenaries for storage]
Item(112360): Numinous Boot Symbol of the Skeptic [Numinous Boot Symbol of the Skeptic]
invalid item (1768781134) detected, ignoring.
So, let's switch the order of the two symbols (glove then boot):
Quote:
Item(52299): Weapon Crate of the Mercenary [A box used by mercenaries for storage]
Item(112411): Numinous Glove Symbol of the Skeptic [Numinous Glove Symbol of the Skeptic]
invalid item (1768781134) detected, ignoring.

It's the same invalid item number even though EQIC is processing different items. If this invalid item number is given by EverQuest itself, then perhaps it is an error on the part of Sony themselves and their programming team needs to know.

EDIT:

When using "/outputfile inventory" command in EverQuest, that character file seems to show those numbers when looked up in Lucy as properly associated with the correct item:
Quote:
General3 Weapon Crate of the Mercenary 52299 1 20
General3-Slot1 Numinous Glove Symbol of the Skeptic 112411 1 6
General3-Slot2 Numinous Boot Symbol of the Skeptic 112360 1 6
General3-Slot3 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot4 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot5 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot6 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot7 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot8 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot9 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot10 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot11 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot12 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot13 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot14 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot15 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot16 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot17 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot18 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot19 Empty 0 0 0
General3-Slot20 Empty 0 0 0

Additional Information:

Doing more testing with my wizard who has 8 Numinous {armorslot} Symbol of Integrity augs, I found out that it processes the first Numinous piece it finds all right. But when it sees the second Numinous aug, whether as a standalone aug in a bag or bank or placed in armor, it balks:
Quote:
Item(112334): Numinous Chest Symbol of Integrity [Numinous Chest Symbol of Integrity]
invalid item (1818389829) detected, ignoring.

The trouble is it stops processing the rest of the inventory and won't update any new information it found before the "invalid item." It responds to link clicks afterwards and will update those.

Edit 2:

I just now put a Numinous Glove Symbol of Integrity in my 3rd bag, a Numinous Wrist Symbol of Integrity in Bank Slot 5 bag and it went fine until it saw the robe in Bank Slot 17 bag and then that error given above showed up. If I have 2 single Numinous augs in my bags, it complains [invalid item (1768781134) detected]. If instead, I have 2 single Numinous augs in bank bags (one in Bank Slot 5 bag, the other in Bank Slot 9) before the robe bag, it'll complain. It seems you can have 1 Numinous aug (not embedded in armor) in your bag AND bank without complaints.
