Players To Watch Out For - The ReturnFollow

Let me reiterate the point you seem to be missing:

Even if I had my flag up all day, I am not required to exp with you or anyone else. You are a stranger to me and even if you were my best friend, my reasons don't concern you. My choice. I am under no obligation whatsoever to give you a reason as to why my flag is up.

If it had been me, I would have blacklisted you and hopped on my ls to tell everyone about this idiot that wouldn't take no for an answer. And I'd leave my flag on the rest of the day, no matter what I was doing.

So basically, just get over it. It really is none of your business why this person has their flag up and not wanting to exp.

You insult him, and he's the as[/b]shole? Riiight.... He didn't want to party with you, let it go. Don't blame him for the lack of tanks at the time, he can't single-handedly save every party out there. At least he's not one of those who puts their flag up, then goes AFK for 5 hours. You should be glad he even responded saying, [b]{No thanks.}

Sorry to say Parjanic but seems like its a 10 against one argument. Kfcc is really special in his own way and that's what makes him...Kfcc! So we might as well drop the subject and move on ^^ btw Bowser if u get Kfcc kicked out of AD can i bring him home? :x

Actually, AD and others. But that's not my point. Anytime someone either mentions an ls mate on the good players thread or defends one here, people immediately go "OMGWTFURINT3HSAMELS!!!11!ONE!1" and therefore your opinion sucks and does not count.

Well, we like to think the players in our linkshell are good players. We often exp together, do missions, etc. quite often. But ooooooh no, don't you dare mention your ls mate for saving your coffer key party from one link too many, or being an excellent tank in an exp party, or being an outstanding redmage. Don't you even think about defending a ls mate who (if you're in any linkshell worth a damn) is a friend and you've known a while when someone who probably doesn't know them from Adam decides they're a bad player b.c they won't exp with them, wouldn't break a party to D2 them or any of the other stupid reasons I've seen show up on this board. I see three reasons to list people on this board: 1) They really sucked at their job and refused to listen to advice, 2) They scammed someone (with proof), or 3) They MPKed.

Once upon a time when I first came to this board, I dared to put my ls mates up for good players because they were (and have been listed by others since) but I was attacked. So remember kids - your ls mates, no matter how awesome or good of a friend they are, you cannot mention or defend them on this board!

Disclaimer: Yes, occassionally idiots defend idiots, but that's rather obvious and I personally enjoy the entertainment.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled viewing.

There are certain standards that the members of this virtual community we call FFXI adhere to. Kfcc was rude by misusing the lfg flag and not responding kindly to explain any misunderstandings that there might have been.

He is by no means a "bad player" but he was rude and so, judging by the thread title, he was a player to watch out for due to his attitude.

If I am to be put on this thread, by all means do it. But the only thing someone could put me here for is being rude to rude people. Not a legitamate reason really. If you try to tell me that he was just doing the same, just remember that he was rude before I lost my temper (and again since people don't read everything I say, he ADMITTS to doing things just to **** people off)

I was not rude because he declined my invite, I was rude because he left his flag up after saying that he didn't want to party. This is a rude thing to do.

Krackhead, you would be correct. Digalante is not a member of AD, but he is applying to be a member. I did my research, but it would seem that I didn't do enough. So Digalante, again, is not a member of AD, but has applied for membership to AD.

I sincerely apologize for my accusation. But he is seeking to become a member.

As far as AD showing up to defend their member.. I think most LS's are protective of their members and would do similarly. Even moreso with HNMLS's, they seem to be quite fixated on reputation. So if you list one of their's in public forum you will get bee-hived. Sadly this is just how is is. Some LS's are more polite than others, and I dont hink anything that AD members posted here was out of line. So in short if you post in a thread that is about the critisism of others you should be prepared to face critisism yourself.

Here you post that you flung a series of insults at one of your fellow players (then added him to the bad player list?). While he may have been rude, it appears from the way that your post reads that YOU took it to the next lvl. One cannot make some one desist from being an ******* by being an ******* to them. Its actions like this that make FFXI not fun.

You list another player for being rude to you, in almost the exact same fashion in which you admitted (in your post) to displaying towards the first player you listed.

I am not sticking up for anyone here, as I know none of these players in game. But your post is contradictory of itsef. No one likes to be talked to in a lewd way. What makes you think that you possess the wisdom to decide when it is necessary and when its wrong?

So in short you call one player and ******* then add him to the bad player list, then add another player to the list told you to **** off?(after you snatched a claim up from under him no less..)

I think you would have been better served to start a general thread about server opinion on LFG and flag ettiquette. It would have been much more productive than THIS thread. I feel that KFCC may have actually been rude to you, and well, that sucks, and you have the right to voice your opinion about that sucktitude publicly..

and anyone else has the right to disagree.(it is a public forum, and Alla has a decidedly aggressive audience when it comes to the topic of disagreeing with their peers)

Rudeness and name calling solve nothing, it only displays an apparent lack of communication skills, and more often than not it leaves the person who launched the verbal assault feeling more upset than the person on the receiving end.

So play nice! If other players are ****** towards take the high road..its really not that hard.

Seaking the whm: Our pt was killing for great exp and then he just casts reraise and it strikes me as odd... then he did poisonga. He died it went after pld and killed her (a ls mate). Then our brd left so now brd and healerless we break apart. He killed my little chance to level. He tried to say it was a accident but he did cast reraise before the mpk and was done at a perfect time. Please dont pt with him.
