hmmm....strifff...
how i remember when i was leveling PLD in sweet good old jungle near kahzam zone. We had some set back then, pld, smn, mnk, rng. and sometimes another rng was joining us. we needed a 6th member and we invited Strifff to join us. even with 2 rangers, she (may be a he but since mithra will refer as "she" ) wanted to pull.
Like you see we only had a healer (smn) in pt so a lot for him and he did quite well. but strifff wouldnt stop pulling and my HP was always in the yellow and wouldnt let me and the smn get MP (and my HP) back. so we told her we will let a ranger pull but still insisted on pulling, and what's worst, kept bringning gobs T.T
so in the end, we kicked her out of pt and she came back with her little /laugh beside Karaya emote and went. However, last weekend i was in pt with her in Boyadha tree and everything went fine. Maybe mood swings heh

Heh. That wasn't us. I'm always the leader of our parties, and I never invite people with bad attitudes.

And yeah, I remember this event, and I'll add Darkknigth to this list. Really a horrible attitude to have, especially in a crowded area like CN was that night.

I don't care if you have to leave to save your mother from the mouth of a demon, if you're going AFK, let people know, and let people know how long. End of story. 10 minutes is pushing it. Usually if it's going to be more than 5 minutes I will boot the person and continue with 5 people until they come back.

I have gotten into the habit of booting people if they go afk for to long without notice anyway.

Currently lvl 46-47 WHM named: Brenetta

For starters:
underleveled sub, ok this was not the worst thing though still unacceptable.

Equipment:
merc. captains head and body. the only mage like items they were wearing were 2 electrums and a red cape. They had a justice badge (lvl 7) as well. and no earrings.

did not have teleport-altep or even the GC. so we were forced to go to CN;;

They did not appear to have Regen or Regen 2 and would just spam cure 2 and 3 throughout the fight. Thankfully we had an awesome PLD who held hate just fine.

Then i noticed that they would do absolutely nothing for entire fights. After the third time everyone in the PT noticed since we all ended in the yellow-orange and the RDM and i were the only ones curing. At that point we booted them and continued for a little while as a 5 person PT.

They eventually returned and logged off (so it was not a case of a D/c.

This is definatley someone to avoid if you want to live. another PT member mentioned that they have PT'd with this person before and they did the same thing.

This little ****... omg... Ok here's the story. So I'm lvling mnk, lvl 16, I heard from our very on alla boards that Republic's knuckles were the way to go! so I stroll on over to SANDY (remember this) and buy knucks from ah for 29k.

LITTLE DID I KNOW till about 5 secs later, I accidently bought bastokan knuckles, the +1 version, republic being +2.

So I looked and the NORMAL price for these is 3k. God I hate myself right now. soo price history says I sold them to Yfrit (the little ****). So I /sea, he's not on. Well tonight I just got ahold of him, explained my story. Said "srry I newbye me no money lol". Hmm, yeah, he's a lvl 6 rng :/. And in west sarutabaruta, halfway across the world from where I bought the knuckles. Yeah, them newbies, they move fast ya? >( So I tell him he's a ranger no way he's a newb, I REALLY want my gil back. I then see "u no need gil your mistake srry my fault cya" I ask him if he was really sorry, he'd send me my gil. AND I told him that I DID need gil, since I'm a 32 samurai, coming up on snipers, ochiudos, and juji gi. I tell him that's around 2mil+ gil I'm gonna need, and that 29k is 1/4 of juji gi. I get an "ok I go sell all my equipment gett you gil". So I'm thinking, YESSSSSS!!! OH HAPPY DAY!!!!

BUT

5 min later I get "haha no need I need srry lol relleis mas la **** cabeza pasaos" HUUHHHH!?!?!?! but I recognize ONE WORD: ****. thats *****/**** in spanish. look up cabeza, that's "head". so now I understand what he said. So I tell him to send me my damn gil, it's common courtesy to return upon error. no response. 15 min later, no response. I tell him that I've been playing since december and am a member of high lvl semi-HNM LS's. that I have the 200 slots filled up on friend list, I can get all my friends, and all THEIR friends to blist him. so I'm thinking 200x50 (average # of friend's friends, around 50 I think) = 10000. I tell him this and that I can have half the server blist him in a day, especially after they hear what he's doing.

NO RESPONSE STILL

So I finish up the nite (my bedtime, school tomorrow) with a "pincha we, chingate" and log off (that's "F-you, go F yourself" in spanish). And now I sit here in my chair, hoping for a /blist add yfrit and a SMALL donation. I have 150gil. And with the equip I need for sam, I'm hocking everything. I can prolly get 20k from everything I own (cept my sam gear, it was expensive, the stuff that I have on now). A friend since february gave me 7 lizard skins. This is MORE than what I ask for. Omg I get on 2 times MAX a week. and like 4 hours total every week. So if I do NOTHING but mine (thats all I can do for gil, sam lvl 32), I figure I can get 30k in a month and a half or so. Yeah, stuff I wanna do <sigh>. My friends are nice, high lvl too (74whm and 63war, just to name the ones I talk to the most) and they are nice, but not nice enough to camp mee deggi, stroper chyme, or the juji gi mob (hawkeyed dnatbat or somehting idk) and give me the item if they get it. Not to mention it'll be us vs the toms, redapples, jerrys, dannys, angels, zooejls, happys, etc etc we all know the gilfarmers. So just plz, send me a 100 gil or so if you can spare it, it'll make me mining till this time next year a little bit easier and a little bit faster.

Heh. I felt stupidity encroaching on me there for a second while reading that post.

Do what we all do when we make a mistake like that...Suck it up, tell your LS, and laugh hysterically about it. It's fun, trust me.

I agree. It's not his fault, though the guy does seem like an *** hole.

Add me, add me! I single handedly destroyed a ls, one that I had finally come to recognize and call home. And that's not all, i was also able to push away all of my friends essentially leaving me without a ls, a set and friends. All this due to my overall destructive personality. ANd best yet it only took me a whole weekend... cause you know i would have done it in a day but i had some hwk.

I'm not too fond of this guy at the moment, but, at the same time I find it hard not to sympathize.

OK, so, my sister is trying for the fifth time to get Genkai2 done, and naturally, it's going horridly. Lots of aggro, lots of "I didn't know you had to start a quest," lots of deaths, etc. Among this party was a lv 60 White Mage named Tinyjr whom they asked at the telepoint if he'd help out. He agreed, and helped them with the Boreal Hound, which was a complete and total disaster. They defeated it, but lost around 3 or 4 party members, the mages were out of MP, and they were all diseased. Well, after everyone was Raised and cleansed of the ickiness, they then found out about 3 people didn't start the quest, and so then they had to wait for them to go back to Jeuno and start it and then come back to Xarcabard.

Apparently, Tinyjr wasn't willing to wait. Without a word, he Warps and disbands. Later, one of the leaders /tells him, and he said he just wasn't interested. Well, that's fine, but how about SAYING that first? Being a WHM, I can see how it'd be frustrating to put up with a party as disorganized as that, but c'mon, show some decency and at least tell people before you leave. That was nothing more than ditching.

I have heard these stories too, from people in my LS.
