Players To Watch Out For - The ReturnFollow

I usually give everyone the benefit of the doubt as to skill, especially players that are lower level and appear to be new and unsure of how to play they're job. Can't keep quiet about this noob though!

Kingcrunp is probably the worst player I've seen in a long long long time! If it's not his little 6 year old brother or sister playing his account, I'd be surprised! This dude couldn't/wouldn't cure his party in Garilage (level 33-34) - I was there to help out a friend. Kingcrunp cast, in 5 fights that I saw, 6 spells (cure II x 2, Regen x 2 and Aero x 2). He let the WAR die because he was angry at the WAR. In the last fight, before the party broke up due to incompetence by the WHM, Kingcrunp cast no spells - WAR died, and the SMN, RDM and I cured the rest of the party. Kingcrunp's excuse - he was typing....

{Run Away} if you get a party invite that has this character in the group!

Zuzeeque

Windurst Rank 7
CoP 8-3
ZM Complete

BLM 75/THF 59/RDM 49/WHM 47/RNG 41/NIN 34/SMN 22/WAR 20/BST 18

Add: Youngbuck
Ls: ArmyofDarkness

Reason:
Partying in Valk. Dunes. He invites me (Brd10/Whm best gear for level) after one fight and while I'm recasting my songs and spot curing he kicks me for no reason at all. Didn't say a word.

Found out later the same night (last night) he kicked someone else with no warning and invited someone from his Ls.
Gave them no reason.

Just to let you know, this guy goes under different names. I was, until today actually a member of his LS, however, as he likes to kick random ppl from his shell because they happen to be thinking ahead... well, he lost 3 other people from that shell (including me). Anyway, his other names, for you to add if you like are:

Ironmike / Massivemike / Azurik / Furious / Youngbuck / Quietstorm / Armyofdarkness

Now I am not saying that my reason for disliking him is because he kicked someone I knew, I am saying as an experienced player it is clear that his childishness is clouding his judgement. The truth of the matter is that he kicked someone because they were mentioning that down the line they would be looking for a HNLS and a Dynamis linkshell. I am sorry, but if you know anything about this game, those are required for end game and most normallinkshell owners know this and understand this. If you have played the game long enough you know this, even if your character is not high enough to participate... I swear people like him make me sick. Kicking out people of the linkshell for talking about future events which are needed in this game shows a lack of intelligence, tact, and maturity.

His name is Eli and he is a THF. I cannot tell you whether he is truly a good THF or not, but if you take him on an event, you have signed your death warrant over and over.

My LS and I were doing Promy 2-3, we've done this countless times and we were doing it one more time for our other members. It's an easy Promy for us and it helps to have an alliance, and we've never had issues in any pick up parties we helped along the way. We tell people as long as we stay together, follow our leader's instructions, you can't go wrong. We never did, until Eli....

Let's just say he didn't listen. He decided to always wander off without the group, believing he knows his way around and what to expect, and he didn't. His wandering always lead him into a death trap, and then the rest of us as well for trying to save him repeatedly.

The best of the worst, as we neared the very end of this, after I myself had died 6 times needlessly thanks to Eli....We approached and area filled with Fomors in cluster groups by the doors we needed to manage by configuring elements on the switches. Our leader said, "Do not pull these fomors, they will gang up on us....Wait until I say it's clear..."

Eli then pulled a Fomor Warrior and his Fomor Samurai buddy followed and started knocking our teeth out. Everyone was like "WTF? WHY?!" and Eli said he needed to clear the area....
One by one we all died. After 2 minutes we were all dead and Eli says "I'm Back!....WTF happened to you guys?!"
I said "You pulled the Fomors when we said not to and you pretended to be AFK when you were doing ranged attacks and WS...."
Eli said "I didn't pull ****!"
I said, "BS."

So, if you have an event, and need to pick up extras, do not pick this guy up. He's a dumb menance.

quietstorm otherwise known as youngbuck , high lv noob.In dunes you bump into many new players, learning the game and so on, great to meet them and show them the ropes. but when you have a 40 or 50+ job and still are incompetant as a player or as a LS leader it's sad. Hopefully players like quietstorm are few on this server. His pass time is to randomly **** ppl off . Was in LS Army Of Darkness and seen ppl booted by him for imature and unjustified reasons time and time again. BEWARE as quiqly as he can befriend you , he can disspose of you like trash. Allso quick at spamming the retarded army or darkness gang sign in pv chat till you have no choice but to blist.

I had a caped job on phenix and many close to beeing caped, and i truethfully have never met a person as rude or as inconciderate as quietstorm aka youngbuck
I can only hope that this server has many good ppl who have better gamer ethics then quietstorm .

p.s. this is not a post writed out of anger, seriously writen in order to warm you of this persone.

Wow, everybody mentioned on this page happens to be a friend of mine, or in my LS.

Kingcrunp can me a bit skatty and he messes around sometimes, but it's all in good fun and any player who plays the game to ENJOY it can probably understand, that he's just here to have fun too.

Youngbuck is the leader of AoD, and 90% of the time people kicked from the LS were kicked for good reason. We recently got a few more sackholders who went recruiting anybody and everybody, and a lot of the newbies to the LS were acting up and being immature, causing the older and wiser members to leave. I'd rather have an LS with a few, polite chatty people who can have fun rather than 20 odd noobs who spam non stop and act like jerks.
Some of the time yeah, I don't agree with the fact that he booted somebody if I saw no real reason for it, but as I said, this is only a small amount of people.

Eli is one of the nicest players I've met on this server. He helped me for days on end when I first started out and I've never seen him do anything to give anybody a hard time. You probably caught him on a bad day.

Playing devil's advocate here, so bear with me.

Not everyone plays this game for complete enjoyment in a single sense. Enjoying the game for some people is completely different for others. Playing just to mess around, or playing to Lv to 75 and be 1337, or trying to take things one step at a time but still make significant progress. These are all different ways to play the game and ENJOY it. So when you say he messes around but still plays to enjoy it doesn't apply to all people. Saying they don't enjoy the game the same way (if he messes around and plays to enjoy it then logically any player who doesn't mess around doesnt play to enjoy it?) doesn't mean he wasn't rude to some people who have conflicting interests with their concept of how to ENJOY the game.

I agree completely with the fact that yes, you need to weed out some people from a shell to make it work, however, when you discriminate someone for mentioning the fact that you need a Dynamis shell or a HNML later on in the game... especially when the AOD site says, and I quote: "Allthough the A-O-D doesn't enjoy it's members having multiple linkshells we can not prevent it from happening, and well sometimes even the Army can't aswer all questions. But we will try our best. The more we help you, maybe one day you can help others." Funny though, when you mention needing a shell when you hit high 60's for certain things you get booted. Yup, that just screams maturity there. And the fact that Young/Quiet meantions that Cutey was leaving the shell, well, that's just bull right there. He wasnt, he was pointing out the obvious for the future unless you dont plan on doing end game. Hell, if I am wrong about needing 3 shells in your late 60's then please, some high lvl feel free to post now. Say the truth, say you only need your original shell and that you dont need to have a Dynamis shell or a HNML shell for end game. I somehow doubt anyone would say that unless they, themselves do not feel like participating in End Game. I have personally never partied with him and yes, I have only rated him on what I have viewed of his personality, however, he was already mentioned on this in which he has been known to kick people out of a party to invite LS members. I know that leveling with your LS may be fun at times, and yes, it shows a sense of loyalty, but to kick random players from your own party without telling them why, even then, only to invite your LS members instead? You can only make it so far in the game.

I have 3 Social shells and 1 HNMLs.
Kicking someone from a shell because (that is not a HNMLs) they plan to one day get a HNMLs/Dyna shell is foolish thing to do.

At the rate of AOD Ls I join any PT's and see the pearl I will request them kicked or find a new member and /pcmd leave.

I'd agree we must have ALL done at least one or two n00b things. I know I have, the worst being when I first started in the Dunes and got agro'd by a goblin gambler on my way to meet up with a pt I'd just been invited too....I knew I couldn't zone in time so I just kept running to the pt which was close, I warned them I had a goblin gambler following as I arrived at camp only to turn around and see two more had linked....we had full pt wipeout very quickly....needless to say I wasn't the most popular, but after we all got raised we had one of the best pt's I've had for a while! Since then I try to be more careful of getting agro'd!

If anyone here is in my LS then "Hello!" - I've not seen any of them mentioned so we must be doing ok so far! :D

Why not, i'll add myself here too... I dont consider myself to be a bad player at all, in fact I have been told I am the best (insert job here) they have ever played with, but I am an ***-hat.

I hate noobs that thinks they are teh l33t sh*t.
If I have a person in my party that is ******** up xp on a regular basis, I will get a replacement for them (Like a blm waaay over nuking, a smn that wont cure, a rdm that wont refresh/haste, etc).
I hardly ever talk in Linkshell chat.
I only have 1-2 people on my friend list that I actually talk to.
I am very opinionated, I will often put my two cents into a conversation when not required.

...but I do have some good qualities, I think.

I do help people when they ask of my help (when im not in a xp party of course).
I have power leveled some parties without being asked to.
I have overpayed some tele-taxi services on few occasions.
I do reply to a lot of messages shouted in jeuno asking for info or help.

I dont like players that "show off" like boasting their different job levels, gil, equipment. I myself have a decent amount of the before mentioned, but im not about to say "Hey, check out my gear" or "I have X level 75 jobs" etc.

I AM trying to turn a new leaf on the game. Less leveling up, and more being decent with other people. I will try to actually talk to people on my friend list and at least say hello in my linkshell chat. Mabey even go as far as level a job that I wont have to pay as much attention to, like bard or whm, just so I can chat with other people.

I dont know, I at least know that I have been less than decent to some people on the server, and I would like to try to correct those unfortunate occasions, and not take myself so serious. Its just a game, I should get over myself.

lol Somebody in my shell watched this guy gamble over and over in Jeuno the other night. So, after he kept losing, he bet all of his money and lost it.

I don't think anyone who has actually worked for their gil would be that careless to just gamble it all away. My two cents.

He might come across as a gil buyer but be carefull. Some think i am too, however , I mastered the art of growing items, and all available mule are beeing use for this . Takes me 1 hour to check plants everyday cause of the amount i have . For those who wish to make millions , instead of buying gil . There are many available gil making guids online, check them out . You will suprised at how easy it can be done. <but time consuming , and investments are allmost allways needed> . good luck and enjoy the game .

I wouldn't normally do this, I'm not one for naming names but...

Caboose. My LS did Garrison the other day, but as we didn't have a full 18 people to do it, we had a few people from another LS join us to fill out the numbers, Caboose being one of them. We were fairly waiting for items to be distributed among us, like you do. All of a sudden he starts lotting and shouting out "HAHAH I HATE YOU ALL" and that kind of bs.

Apparently his excuse for lotting was that we were being unfair to him, by the way that he died close to the beginning of one of the fights, and we "didn't raise him" until afterwards. Here I'll point out that we were doing a level 20 garrison. There's a reason why we didn't raise him, and I dont think I need to point it out.
