Disturbing trend re: HNM congratulations threads.Follow

Okay, I have to say this, and this is the first bit of forum policing I've felt any desire to do in a good long time: God damn, what the f[/b]uck is with somebody needing to throw HNM drama bullsh[b]it into every congratulatory thread? Just say "Congratulations" and move on, you don't have to take shots or comment on the linkshell while you're at it. Jesus Christ, the Vrtra thread was absolutely disgusting from the perspective of horsesh[b][/b]it drama, I love seeing the seeds of another flamewar in the SECOND POST of a new thread. I'm really goddamned sick of seeing people wanting to **** all over everything even vaguely HNM-related. It would be really great if, just once, someone's knee-jerk reaction to so much as seeing the name of their least favorite LS wouldn't lead to well-intentioned threads getting completely derailed into needless screaming of one faction at another.

Do us all a favor, keep your goddamned mouth shut if you don't have anything positive to contribute. Hie thyself to the Bismarck ***** List where you don't ever have to say anything nice at all and leave the congratulations threads for what they're meant to be.

And before anyone comes running in here with all guns blazing for me - yes, I see that the post that prompted this has been explained away, and this is by no means intended as an attack against that poster, &c; what prompted this is that I just know that someone was bound to get their back up and start a big argument over who's well-liked or not in that thread and I'd rather cut it off at the pass. Plus I haven't yelled at yall for being douchebags in a long time. I heard you guys missed me. ;)

Who me? I miss the "old hands" of the Bismarck forum. The newcomers are good, but I'm much more familiar with you, Twizz, Eleusynia, Tweed, Tsetsuo, etc. Kinda funny because I rarely see any of you in game :D

Mentioning Leeroy Jenkins basically means you're a dumbass. It's an annoying fad that needs to stop. It puts whoever says it on the same level as those little script-kiddies who speak in 1337.
