A game for Bismarck (with a 100k gil prize!)Follow

Hello fellow Bismarckians,

Fifteen days ago, it was my One Year anniversary of arriving at Bismarck.

I have been playing around with this game idea for a while now, and I have finally decided that the time is ripe to do it...

But first...a bit of a story background to this game.

THE STORY

"I...I lovey-wovey you..." The taru said softly. He blushed gently, and turned away from the girl he had slowly fallen in love with over the past couple years.

He felt a hand placed on his shoulder, gently squeezing it. "...I'm sorry...but...I can't...I must find the full moon...you know I can't..." She gently whispered into his ear as she then stood up and started to walk away from him.

The taru was crushed, and he sighed with tears in his eyes.

"The full moon...where can I ever find that?" he said...

It was then that divine inspiration, as if it had come from the Star Sibyl herself, struck him.

"I'll...I'll...bring the full moon to her. That way I can end her search, and bring her happiness. Even if she will never love me, just to know that I put a smile on her face will be enough for me."

With that, he got up and started to walk off in the opposite direction of where he love went, to help her achieve her dream.

This game is called "Full Moon wo **************** which translates from Japanese as "Searching for the Full Moon".

The objective of the game is to help the little taru achieve the goal of making the love of his life smile...

To help him out (and enter the game), all you have to do is post a picture in this thread. It can be of anything, but it must have the full moon in it and it has to be a FFXI screenshot. I will have a friend of mine who doesn't play FFXI ("Jeuno? What the hell is that? It sounds like some sort of Greek Goddess."-true quote) judge the pictures, and she will pick the one that she likes the best as the winner.

The winner will get 100k delivered to him or her via trade.

You may post as many pictures as you would like, and the ones submitted can have been taken before this game began (like from summerfest of last year, or against the sakura trees back in March). After all, the more pictures you can post, the more likely the taru will bring a smile to his beloved's face^^

The game will run from the second this post goes up until Midnight PST of June 27th, 2005. The winner will then be notified via this forum within two days after that.

You can find a clock of when the next full moon will be in Wint's sticky^^.

Have fun, and lets bring this taru a happy ending!

Wow...umm...didn't think that part through completely.

Okay, let's extend this game for two weeks...from now until midnight monday pst two weeks from now. That should HOPEFULLY give us more full moons to work with^^;;

That should fix it?

I took this one a looooooong time ago. I think when CoP first came out. Anyway, it looks like a full moon to me ^^

Well at least the peeps on alla understand there was supposed to be a moon in the picture and it had to be FFXI related.
The guys on killingifrit didnt have a moon on a single pic!

Um.. no, this thread is a very good and interesting thread, and I think that most people will agree with me that, you are the stupid one, not the thread.

Mickaldrm, if you dislike this thread, you don't have to whine about how you think it's bad. No offense, but one cares what you think. If you don't like the thread, skip over it and ignore it, don't complain about it.
