Thanks Zariko, But I quit PLD a couple of months ago because of this same BS. For the longest you would hear PLD this and NIN that, and I would get upset as if the last year of my FFXI career had been wasted. I am lvling WAR right now, but I think that out of the many retarded DRG, you were one that was very smart. I think you are one of the best DDs I played with.

I went from lvl 48-53 with battosi on his ninja, and yeah, hes a bad *** nin.

I've partied with alot of tanks and only a few names stand out.

Battosi(ninja)
Gailen(warrior)

but thats just my .02

So in conclusion, he was able to do what just about every other tank can do.

FFXI is a stat based game not skilled based. Your gear and level effect how well you play. As long as you use the abilities of your char everyone of the same level and gear will be equal. Yes, there are people that don't use there job abilities right. Being stat based who ever has the best stats is the best.

Battosi and I were in a set pty back when both of us had a high job of around 32. We had a pty that went like 32-37 that was the only pty we ever had. Him and I competed who could level faster for a while. I use to level really fast but around level 50 burnt out on it and have leveled really slow since then. I also work full time so I can't play a ton unless I get no sleep or weekends. Bat was 60 when I was 50. Bat now has 3 75 jobs and my high is 74.

12 hours fighting 1 HNM? Damn, sunlight people this is only a game. I would be all judgemental if I didn't play this game way to much too.

So.... I talked to Battosi tonight during Dynamis Lord wipe about this topic. He says he "solo tanked them all <gods> naked. They are so easy and I needed a challenge". For those of us that fought/fight all the gods, you know how to take that comment. For the not-so-experienced players.... go try to solo tank one of them naked. It will certainly be "a challenge".

so if you lose hate for 2-3 seconds to a ranger invoky you wouldnt consider yourself being the only tank?

i tanked charbydis solo (no other ninjas, paladins, or warriors) but i did lose hate some times, its inevitable.

Of course I dont konw who battosi is and I have nothing against him. You are free to say hes the best tank or whatever I wouldnt even care.

But saying stuff like "solo tanked them all <gods> naked. They are so easy and I needed a challenge" are just stupid and arrogant.

Dont boost about something you havent done. If you did, prove me wrong.
