Alright Ill explain this simply.
Problem - Jugner forest, West and East ronfaure (however u spell that) Lag my computer to hell.
What I have done to try and correct the situaton - Playonline recommended graphics drivers installed, old ones deleted. Animation settings turned down.Check files through the playonline viewer to see if any files were corrupt.
Final Fantasy Config in playonline folder looks like this.
Mipp mapping enabled (not even sure what the hell that is)
Overlay graphics resolution - 1024x 768
Backround resolution - 1024 x1024
Textures -low
On screen maps - compressed
Bump mapping enabled
Environmental animation - smooth
Sound enabled
Comp specs are as follows
1 gb ram
Amd athlon 2500+ processor
geforce fx 5500 FX 256 (Runs final fantasy beautifully I might add except in those 3 zones)

Hmmm. . . well, my biggest performance hit occurs when I change background to 1024X1024, so maybe try going back to 512X512 if you're planning on being in those zones much. Otherwise, it just makes the game look ugly. ^^ Good luck.
